Paid Ads

How Toronto med spas fill their calendar with paid ads.

Most clinics treat advertising like a slot machine. They pull the handle, watch the budget spin, and hope something lands. Here is the structure we use to turn ad spend into booked treatments, week after week.

If you run a med spa in Toronto, you already know the math is unforgiving. A single injectable client can be worth thousands over a year, yet most clinics happily burn a thousand dollars a month on ads that send strangers to a busy homepage and call it marketing. The clicks come in. The bookings do not.

The problem is almost never the platform. Meta and Google both work for aesthetics. The problem is the structure wrapped around the spend. Fix the structure and the same budget starts producing real appointments.

Start with one treatment, not your whole menu

The fastest way to waste money is to advertise everything you offer at once. A new patient cannot evaluate filler, laser, microneedling, body contouring and memberships in a three second scroll. Confusion kills the click.

Pick the one treatment that brings in your best clients and lead with it. For most clinics that is a flagship injectable or a signature facial with a clear before and after. Build the entire campaign around that single promise. Once it produces bookings reliably, you add the next treatment as its own campaign rather than crowding the first.

The offer does more work than the targeting

Agencies love to talk about audiences and lookalikes. Useful, but secondary. What actually moves a stranger to book is the offer they see in the first line of the ad.

A strong intro offer lowers the risk of trying a clinic for the first time. It gives a reason to act now instead of bookmarking you for a someday that never comes. The offer needs three things to pull its weight:

  • A specific result, not a vague promise. Smoother skin in one visit beats luxury experience every time.
  • A reason to move now, whether that is a limited number of first visit spots or a seasonal window that genuinely closes.
  • A price or starting point that removes the fear of an open ended bill.

Send the click to a page built for one decision

This is where most of the money leaks out. A great ad pointed at your homepage forces the visitor to hunt for the thing you promised. They land, they scan a menu of services, they meet your team, they read your story, and somewhere in all of that the urge to book quietly fades.

Every campaign needs its own landing page that talks about one treatment, shows real proof, answers the questions a nervous first timer actually has, and offers one obvious next step. No top navigation pulling them away. No nine other services competing for attention. One promise, one decision.

An ad is a promise. The landing page is where you keep it. Break the promise on arrival and no amount of budget saves the campaign.

Follow the lead until they book

Roughly half the people who fill out a form will not answer the first phone call or reply to the first text. That is normal. They are busy, they got nervous, life got in the way. Clinics that win are simply the ones that follow up more than once.

A short sequence of texts and emails over the first few days turns a cold form fill back into a booked chair. Most clinics never build this, which means there is found money sitting in their CRM right now. Automate the follow up and you recover bookings you already paid to generate.

What this looks like over ninety days

Put the pieces together and the picture changes fast. One treatment, one strong offer, one focused landing page, and a follow up sequence that does not quit. In the first month you learn what your true cost per booking is. By the second you are cutting the ads that lose money and feeding the ones that win. By the third you have a system you can scale on purpose rather than a budget you cross your fingers over.

That is the difference between buying clicks and building a calendar that fills itself.
